Catherine (Meinert) Eigner
(1733?-1775?)

Catherine (Meinert) Eigner, the daughter of Friedrich and Eva Maria (Weber) Meinert Sr., was born around 1733 in Philadelphia County, later part of Berks County, PA. She was born just a few years after her parents emigrated from Germany. 

Catherine married Johannes Eigner (1733-1796), the son of Johann Mathias and Anna Elizabeth Eigner. 

They had 5 known children: Anna Elizabeth Deheven, Johannes Mathias Eigner, Johannes 'Peter' Eigner Sr., Johannes Eigner and Maria Eva Eigner. 

Catherine died around 1775. Her husband Johannes died July 20, 1796, and he is buried at the Zion Lutheran Church in Alburtis, PA.

Son Peter Eigner married Susanna Stout and they had 2 children, David Eigner and Elizabeth Eigner. They lived in Upper Saucon Township, Lehigh County, PA, as late as 1850.

Daughter Anna Elizabeth married Peter Deheven and had 3 known children: Catherine Deheven, Johannes Deheven and Peter Deheven Jr.
