  • Exit the PA Turnpike at Somerset.  (You’ll ultimately want to get onto Route 281 South, but will need to take several turns.)

  • Once through the Turnpike toll booths, proceed past several hotels on your right, including Ramada Inn and Holiday Inn.  At the stoplight, turn right onto North Center Avenue.

  • Proceed approximately 11 blocks to Harrison Street, and turn left.

  • Go two short blocks and look for signs instructing you to turn right onto Route 281 South.

  • Follow Route 281 South for approximately 13 miles.

  • The grove will be on the right, marked by signs adjacent to the road that say "Annual IOOF Picnic" and "Minerd Reunion."
