Pattern: Butterflies
Quilter: Victoria (Smith) Campbell Clingman Gunderson

This purple-themed quilt features butterflies and was made by Victoria (Smith) Campbell Clingman Gunderson of the family of Royal Dee and Mary Jane (Blansett) Minard. She fashioned it as a gift for her great-granddaughter, Isla Smith, whom Victoria says "loves pink and purple and butterflies."

All of the butterflies in this quilt are hand-embroidered. She writes: "I have always loved making things, but it wasn't until my 7th grandchild that I decided I would try quilting. I had to buy a sewing machine and watch videos to learn how to even thread it. LOL. So I made my first quilt for my grandson, Jay, who just turned 18. I have no idea how many I've actually done now."
