Cousin Biographies
The Stories of the "First 1,950" Cousins

Some of the 87 known grandchildren of Western Pennsylvania pioneers Jacob and Maria (Nein) Minerd Sr.  Click on the photos to see their biographies, or by first letter of their last name below. Click for a list of the 700-plus cousins we've lost since we began counting in July 2000. Or perform a custom Google search of our website using the field below.

Our family today is massive.  The ancestors of us all, Western Pennsylvania pioneers Jacob and Maria (Nein) Minerd Sr., produced at least 1,957 descendants by the year 1900, comprising just the first four generations of offspring.  This includes 12 children - 87 grandchildren - 470 known great- grandchildren - and 1,400 known great- great- grandchildren. The names of these cousins -- the "First 1,950" -- are listed in alphabetical order, with links to those who have biographies.

There are more than 1,330 bios on our site, with more to come.  Begin by clicking on the first letter of the last name you seek.  Then, look at the list to find the name.  If the name is linked, click to see a bio.  In the list of Minerd- Minard- Miner- Minor names, all variations of spellings are intermingled and listed alphabetically by the person's first name.
