Pattern: Wild Rose
Quilter: Jean (Shoemaker) Ayars

Jean (Shoemaker) Ayars ' "Wild Rose" was her second quilt, and the first one using applique techniques. Says her husband, James Arthur Ayars, "The first was made for Amanda, our niece, when an infant. Amanda wore it out. This one, however, survived."

Jim  is a descendant of Uriah and Matilda (Bodle) Minerd of Carson City and Hubbardston, MI.
