Pattern: Poinsettia
Quilter: Mabel (Snyder) Richter and Daughters

This colorful Poinsettia pattern quilt was made in the winter of 1945-1946 by Mabel (Snyder) Richter, one of many quilts she crafted with help from her five daughters. Later, she gave a quilt to each daughter. This one was a gift to Mae (Richter) Grimm upon Mae's 15th birthday. In 2005, it was given to Mae's daughter Peg (Grimm) Mansberry, which Peg brought to be displayed and photographed at the 2005 National Minerd-Minard-Miner-Minor Reunion.

Peg will pass it along to her own daughter someday, with the hope that it will remain "in the family for at least 100 years."
