Pattern: Lone Star
Quilter: Lilly "Blanche" Miner Sanner

This bright yellow, pink and yellow "lone star" pattern quilt was created by Lilly "Blanche" (Miner) Sanner of Kingwood, Somerset County, PA. This is based on a pattern that was popular in the 1890s. Each of the stars in this quilt is made of a diamond shaped block. It was photographed at our 2005 National Minerd-Minard-Miner-Minor Reunion
