Irena Mae 'Rena' (Ogle) Holliday
(1874- ? )

Irena Mae "Rena" (Ogle) Holliday was born in 1874 in Fayette County, PA, the daughter of William D. and Sarah (Minerd) Ogle

At the age of 25, on Dec. 14, 1899, she entered into marriage with 21-year-old laborer Robert E. Holliday (1878- ? ), son of Robert and Josephine Holliday. Justice of the peace John H. Halfhill officiated at Moyer, Fayette County. At the time, Rena Mae resided in Scottdale, Fayette County, while Robert lived in Bullskin Township. On the marriage license application, Rena Mae listed her father's name as "William" but her mother's name as "Elizabeth" which causes some confusion.

The federal census enumeration of 1900 shows the couple living in Bullskin Township, with Robert earning a living as a coal miner.

Rena lived in Pittsburgh in 1920.

By 1941, when was mentioned in the Connellsville Daily Courier obituary of her sister Mary Emma Newingham, Rena made her home in California, Washington County, PA.
