This colorful log cabin quilt pattern by Jean (Shoemaker) Ayars was created in 1980, and was a favorite of her son David, who "almost wore it out using it." Jean's husband, James Arthur Ayars, is a descendant of Uriah and Matilda (Bodle) Minerd of Carson City and Hubbardston, MI.
