Harry 'Glenn' Sherwood
(1880- ? )

Harry "Glenn" Sherwood was born on Aug. 20, 1880 (or 1882) at Cardington, Morrow County, OH, the son of Lester and Margaret (Miner) Sherwood.

Glenn as an adult stood 5 feet, 8 inches tall, was slender and had hazel eyes and brown hair.

He was united in wedlock with Helen ( ? - ? ).

Little is known of his life, except that he lived in San Francisco.

He is believed to be the same Harry Glenn Sherwood who registered for the military draft during World War I. At that time, he was posted to the Farallon Islands, a cluster of rocky islands about 30 miles offshore of San Francisco's Golden Gate. He was employed there as first assistant keeper of the lighthouse station.

He is said to have "died at sea ... in some sort of military service or Merchant Marine" activity, wrote a niece.

Glenn's fate has disappeared from the research trail.
