Dear Aunt, Uncle & cousins,

It has been some time since we heard from you but we have been so buisy that we could not write and we have had so much to go to that we could not get time to rite. Well this leaves us all well as common. but Otis, he was sick yesterday and looks pretty pekid today. it is biliousness that ails him I guess. We are having tha finest kind of weather. but we never have any other kind in Kansas you know. Well I wonder what you folks are doing this evening. eating apples I expect. how I would like to have some. just eat some for me wont you. Aunt Helen you have not seen anything of Anna Sellers down there have you? she is up there some place visiting. I expect she will be down in your part before long. where did you go thanksgiving day? we had a festival at our school house in the evening. Cleared $35.00 dollars. how is that for Kansas. they sold a cake that they made. it fetch about $15.00. and then they had a quilt & they sold that. and it brought $3.00. it was for the support of the minister.

Dick is in Kingman working in the salt wells. Well I have said enough for this time. Mabel wants to write some. hoping to hear from you soon. your niece. Jennie

Mabel is learning fast. when school commenced she couldnt write a bit.
