We wer over East too day too a big dinner. had a good time & a good diner. Well when you have no place to goe just come out here for thare is more going on here than we can goe too. thare is sunday school meeting & prayer meeting. Epworth League Exteary Alinces & festivals. Oh what times we doe have. the Ladies Aid Soity had thare pictures takin not long ago and as soon as I can get one I will send you one. I expect you will have a visitor from this part of Kan some time this winter. Mrs Anie Sellers is up north of you visiting. I dont know whether you know her or not. her name use to be Anie Wilmans [Williams]. she promised me she would go and see you when she got down in that part. now you dont need to fix up very much for her for she is not very stylish.

Corn husking in the fields of Kansas

pa says he has quit work & he just aint going to work any more. and he feels better for it. he says if he lives long enough and he sheers a lot of hogs he will come up & see you. He says ask Will how he liked the Alince paper he sent him. Now Will old Kan. hooped [or hoofed] her livey all Alince & not a democrat scheme either. How could it bee when Kan is a Republickan state. it is neather democrat nor Republickan but it is an independant party standing up for thare rights and are going to have them. We are tired of Class legislators. wheat look well. my corn is better than I thought it would be. it is a good half crop and very good quality. I am not quite done husking corn yet. now I have writen about all I can think of at present. corn is 50 cts per bu. hogs are 3 & 3.25. now write soon and I will try & doe better next time.

Love to all as ever

Brother Late
