Nett-Helen Letters

Letters from Lester White to Helen - March 1890

Return to Index

March, 1890?

Wednesday Morning

As Sue is finishing her letter I concluded to write a little more. I guess we are getting your storm that Carrie wrote about. It commenced to rain here last Monday morning at 8 o'clock and has kept it up ever since. last night it snoad some & is raining again this morning. I never say such a time in this country but it will surely let up after a while. the ground is soaked full and running over. this will put the farming back two or 3 days again. It seames as though Kansas is not herself this spring. Well I must close & send Oat up to town with this before the male comes from the west.

do write soon as you get this. tell us all the news for you have so much more news to tell than we have & then you can write so much better Letters than we can be sure & make up your mind to pay us a visit this spring. come in May. then the weather will be settled I guess by that time if it dont stay March all summer.

Ever yours,
Lester White
