Johann Adam Gaumer
(1766-1841)

 

Johann Adam Gaumer was born on Feb. 10, 1766 in Macungie Township, Northampton County, PA, a son of Johann Dietrich and Maria "Elizabeth" (Meinert) Gaumer Sr.

He was baptized on May 11 in the year he was born. Serving as his sponsors were Adam Desch and his wife.

Adam married Regina (?). They are believed not to have reproduced.

The Gaumers resided in Macungie Township.

Johann Adam died in Macungie in 1841, at the age of 75. His will was probated on Dec. 20, 1841. 

Regina’s fate is unknown.

Adam and Regina are named in Myrtle Knepper Weniger's typescript work, entitled The Gaumer Family and Allied Lines (Corvallis, OR: 1946).
